Q: If I attend a Renewing Hope group, do I have to stand up and confess my whole past?
A: No, each person can participate to the level of his own comfort.  However, no one is there to judge the other and honesty is encouraged without being explicit.

Q: I don't consider myself as gay, but I do sometimes fantasize about same sex encounters.
A: You don't need to be in the gay lifestyle or be active to have some potentially dangerous or inappropriate behavior.  It may be helpful to be open about these thoughts in a safe environment.

Q: I'm married and I don't want my spouse, family and church to find out.
A: Every conversation and meeting is confidential.  You will not receive mail or phone calls without your consent, and there is no pressure if you miss a meeting.

Q: I'm HIV+, so I'm doomed to die a homosexual.
A: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

Q: Will I ever have complete healing and freedom?
